The colourful four seasons, the food culture of soba and brewing (Komoro)
Komoro's "buckwheat" culture is said to have originated in the early Edo period when
Sengoku Hidehisa handed out the traditional "buckwheat noodles" as "buckwheat slices"
to civilians. Hidehisa's generous behaviour stems from Hidehisa's omotenashi (hospitality) spirit. In Komoro, the tradition of 'soba' and 'omotenashi' has been maintained,
highlighting the history and the four seasons.
