The spring water from Shimabara Peninsula, is used in manufacturing and
cooking of 'hand-pulled somen' and 'kanzarashi'.
The 'hot spring steamed meals' are made from the Unzen volcano in the Shimabara Peninsula. The local unique food culture is linked to the water produced by the volcano, and through the food you can feel a connection with the volcano.
