Day 1

Alps View Farms Bena

Recognized as Shinshu Hometown View Hill, this natural park encompasses the entire area. Enjoy panoramic views of the Tenryu River, the villages on the west bank, and the Central Japan Alps, making it one of the best views in the Ina Valley.

Cider Brewery Tour (with tasting)

Tour three neighborhood breweries in a chartered taxi, listen to stories from the owners and brewers (interpretation available), and enjoy delicious sake and gourmet snacks.

Fruit Picking

In this area, known as Fruit Village, fruit picking can be enjoyed almost year-round, except during the harsh winter months. As this is the northernmost limit for pears and the southernmost limit for apples, picking pears and apples together is popular.

Tree Dome Minami Shinshu Matsukawa

This special accommodation includes rooms suspended approximately three meters above ground, creating glamping in the forest. Enjoy Shinshu bean paste hot pot and barbecue in the adjacent dining area.

Day 2

Oyorite Forest

This is an accredited forest therapy base in Matsukawa Town. Home to a diverse range of creatures, including rare butterflies and birds, you can splash around in the stream. This is a pleasant place just to walk around.

Take a 20-minute stroll through the orchard guided by the owner (interpretation provided), and savor French cuisine made with locally sourced ingredients in the orchard. You can also enjoy the views of the Japan Alps.

Katagiri Dam

A 59.2-meter-high gravity concrete dam. The natural scenery changes with the seasons, creating the perfect spot for bird watching and photography.
